Creator of signs
Harry Paul is a Dutch multidisciplinary industrial designer and art director with a passion for sports and creativity. He is known for his innovative and functional designs which often incorporate traditional techniques in new and unexpected ways, that range from product, accessories and furniture to architecture, booth design and limited-edition art pieces. His designs have been praised for their sleek and modern style, as well as their attention to detail and quality. He was born in Breda, the Netherlands, in 1966, and he played football for both professional and non-professional teams in his youth.
After graduating from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 1992, Harry Paul went on to complete an advanced Master course at the Domus Academy in Milan in 1994. He then freelanced for several well-known designers before establishing his own studio, Harry&Camila, in Milan in 1998. His designs have been recognized with awards, including several Good Design Awards of the Chicago Athenaeum, IF Design awards, Focus-Design Center Baden-Württemberg, and the Hospitality award, best of the best, in Las Vegas.
Harry Paul’s designs are sought after by companies and consumers around the world, and he has been featured in design magazines and exhibitions globally. He has also served many times as a jury member for the IMM- and Spoga Cologne international design competitions. Harry-Paul lectured as professor of design at Domus Academy and IED. In addition to his successful design career, Harry Paul is the proud father of three children, Indianapolis, Blu Canela, and Moon.
