AMOEBE
To encapsulate or divide space. A single element that being combined with more, creates the effect of a fascinating organic structure that seams to grown. The single elements of polycarbonate are combined by the eyes and pins already integrated into the elements. These very stable connections can easily be unplugged again. AMOEBE can be arranged as you like in 2D or 3D directions.
Harry-Paul created with the thankful help of 20 people, knotting for 4 days -around the clock- 35.000 pieces of Amoebe into a glacial dream like entrance for the Stylepark building, symbolizing future development progress and expansion, where nature, mankind, technigue, past and present will go hand in hand.
Inside the Stylepark building, the artist created further “Space-Scape”, a visual integrated galactic way with greenish and yellowish gradation of fluorescent and phosphorescent Amoebe elements, out of space sounds and low seats. As the planet is an organism, all of us are cells with different purposes and yet we are all interwinded serving each other……..serving the whole.
